last October i was on the verge of a breakdown. I was pacing back and forth, looking at my calendar, on the phone, listening to the baby cry, and panic filled my bones. I was booking weddings and portraits, but as the business was growing, so was my stress level. i had come to a point when i had to admit that i wasn’t superwoman (yeah that was a tough realization) and i needed to ask for help. If you are a client of mine, then I am finally putting a picture to the person who has been emailing you, sending you contracts, helping you find the perfect location, and answering your many questions. Rebecca is a lifelong friend. You know the kind that has your back, goes out of their way to pick you up soup when your sick, or buys you a shirt they saw because they knew you would love it. you know the kind of friend that i went to when Sam broke my heart (thats a story for another time) and i cried all over her pillows. the kind of friend that makes me feel like a better mom because she understands that moms aren’t perfect. the kind that puts on the hot water the moment you walk in the door. yup… thats Becca.
a few fun facts about Rebecca in her own words:
I turn 30 in March. Anjuli and I have been friends since we were 12. I was a sympathy friend, meaning she felt bad for me so she took me in 
I have the same friends that I did when i was in jr. high (and a few amazing additions) I met my husband when I was 15- he was my date to prom. I have 2 amazingly energetic little girls whom I would give my life for. I graduated from CSU Long Beach with a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies- yup, that’s a real degree. I love to plan and organize things such as parties, people, weddings Chai tea Lattes from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf are my all time favorite. I am a sucker for cheesy high school drama tv shows such as One Tree HIll, The OC, and Beverly HIlls 90210 (the original series)
how ridiculously cute are her little girls: penelope and chloe
the cool part is that her husband David is also a professional photographer. a few years ago before i started Photorange i met with David and i pounded him with questions. the guy is brilliant when it comes to cameras and pretty much anything photography related. he still lets me pick his brain when i have a question. and he also is my 2nd shooter for weddings. fun stuff.
